Office Staff positions are available.

Volunteers may choose weekly or 2 times per month shifts. Minimum hours per shift is 2. Job Description is included HERE. Beginning January 2, 2008, we will be actively recruiting for additional staff as we gear up for the 2008 Campaigns. Please contact the office for more information at 858.1050.

Purpose of the year-round headquarters:

* house official documents of the Jackson County Democratic Party

* provide and maintain centralized communication systems

* provide and maintain volunteer and donor data bases

* provide resources and support to Democratic candidates

* provide educational materials and information about Democratic candidates and positions on various issues to the community

* provide a lending library of books on political, cultural and historical issues

* register voters

* provide meeting space for committee work, campaigns and other events

* house phone banks for get out the vote efforts
